Child Safety Standards — AOA Connect

AOA Connect ("the App") is an alumni networking platform that provides community boards, forums, event listings, and a marketplace for alumni to connect with their institution and each other. AOA Connect has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form, on any part of our platform.

Our commitment

We do not permit content, communication, or conduct that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors anywhere in the App, including in posts, comments, profile content, messages, or marketplace listings.

We prohibit the solicitation, sharing, or promotion of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form.

Accounts found to be in violation of this policy are permanently banned, and content is removed immediately upon detection or report. In-app reporting

Every post, comment, forum discussion, news item, and marketplace listing in AOA Connect includes a built-in "Report" option, letting any user flag content for review directly from within the app. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team, and content or accounts that violate this policy are actioned promptly.

Escalation to authorities

Where we identify or receive a credible report of CSAM or CSAE, we remove the content and/or suspend the responsible account, and we cooperate with and report to the relevant law enforcement and regulatory authorities as required under applicable law.
